There are a million words and yet here I am at a loss. To one of the best, most incredible men that I had the honour of having in my life for the past 24 years. I love you, Grampy and may you rest in peace.

He has achieved success who has lived well, laughed often, and loved much;
Who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children;
Who has filled his niche and accomplished his task;
Who has left the world better than he found it;
Who has looked for the best in others and given the best he had;
Whose life was an inspiration
Whose memory is a benediction

- Robert Louis Stevenson

  1. What a beautiful tribute.
    Having known you, Mallory, even so briefly, I can only imagine how proud your grandfather must have been of you.
    You bring light and humour with you wherever you go.
    Steady on, girl.

    With much love.

  2. So sorry to hear of your Grandfather's death. Mac was truly a great man who touched the lives of all those who knew him. It only hurts so much because there was so much love. You are fortunate to have such a kind, caring and loving family. Your Grandfather and family are a shining example for all of us to follow. Love, prayers and God Bless.

  3. The photo speaks volumes Mallory. Very sorry to hear of your grandfather's passing. There is no doubt in my mind that he is watching, and hoping that his family doesn't feel the pain of his loss for too long.

    Enjoy your memories of him when you can.
